JUAN ABUCHAIBE

Tennis Director

Juan, a seasoned tennis director and former professional player, boasts an impressive career marked by significant coaching and development roles with both professional and collegiate tennis players. His leadership was instrumental as the Junior Davis Cup captain in 2012, and he adeptly guided the Colombian team at the Youth Olympic Games in China in 2014.

Juan’s influence further extended to mentoring young talent in the COSAT European Circuit for U14 in 2012. He helmed the Junior Development Program of the Colombian Tennis Federation from 2007 to 2009 and again from 2013 to 2014, shaping future generations of players. As captain at the ODESUR Games in Santiago, Chile, and Lima, Peru in 2014, along with his role as a Colombian delegate for COSAT and ITF circuits from 2007 to 2014, Juan’s global experience has profoundly enriched his contributions to tennis, underscoring his lasting impact in the sport.

RJ SCHEBEL

Golf Director

Born and raised in South Bend, Indiana, RJ has spent the last 12 years at high-level golf academies developing students from around the world. RJ is a Bodi Tracks Level 4 Certified Coach.

He understands the importance of a holistic approach to player development. He emphasizes the importance of efficient body movement while minimizing the risk of injuries. “As a performance golf coach with over a decade of experience, I’ve developed a unique approach to unlocking students’ potential. I maximize their talent by ensuring that they not only achieve but consistently maintain peak performance on and off the golf course. I’m incredibly passionate about helping my students.”
RJ’s students have gone on to compete at all levels collegiately and professionally on both domestic and international tours.

CLIVE MCCANN

Golf Director

Clive began his professional playing career in the high-profile Florida Space Coast, TC Jordan, Tear Drop and Tommy Armour Tours. After years on the junior circuit, McCann joined the big leagues playing the South African PGA/Co-sanctioned European Tour and South American PGA Tour. Clive played the tours for eleven years while also serving as an instructor in the family business. He always knew his passion and true calling was in teaching.

Clive started his full-time teaching career for Phil Ritson’s Golf Your Way Schools in Orlando where he earned his Master Instructor and Classic Master Biomechanics status for the Phil Ritson Golf Institute, and Body Biomechanics at ICGB. At Phil Ritson, Clive directed the company’s international expansion for Samsung (South Korea) and was the opening Director for the Japan Tour Players Academy in Tokyo.

Clive has served as Lead Coach for Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy and Director/Head Coach for PGSA in South Korea. Clive was also the Head of Instruction for JPGA on Hilton Head and then the Director/Head Coach

for JPGA at Orange County National in Orlando, Florida.
Clive has assisted numerous players on the USPGA, LPGA, Korn Ferry, KPGA, KLPGA, EPGA, JPGA, CPGA SAPGA, Mackenzie Tour, Asian Tour and China Tour.

Soccer Director

Soccer Hall of Fame Coach, Ferdinando De Matthaeis, who, since 1999, coached 4 teams in Italy and 12 teams in the U.S. He has coached multiple all-star teams and brings his wealth of knowledge and passion for the sport to Altitude Rush Boarding Academy.

Before coaching, he achieved honors and awards as a soccer player, with accolades ranging from Top Scorer and MVP as well as the captain of an all-star team. Coach Ferdi knows what it takes to train for a successful soccer career.

PIOTR MARCINIAK

Volleyball Director

born and raised in Poland, has a proven track record of developing volleyball players who have gone on to play for top volleyball universities. Marciniak’s journey in volleyball began at the age of 13, leading to a career that spans across continents and competitions. He started playing professionally indoors in 2004 and represented the Polish National Team from 2005-2006. His international experience includes competing for Egypt’s top professional indoor team between 2010 and 2011.

In 2012, Piotr moved to the United States to pursue a Master’s degree, where he transitioned to beach volleyball on the AVP Tour and the EVP Tour. His remarkable performance includes three top 5 finishes and a third-place victory with Rafu Rodrigues in Hermosa Beach, CA.

Piotr’s coaching philosophy incorporates a proven training system that includes periodization planning and innovative training drills. This approach has been instrumental in his success in developing players who excel at the collegiate level.

Licensed IPTPA Pickleball instructor and Joola-sponsored 5.0 player competing at the professional level, she achieved an impressive #7 ranking in the DUPR Southwest Region women’s division in 2022. With her 4 years of teaching experience, Madeline excels at molding and refining players’ technical, tactical, and mental aspects of the game so they can compete at the highest level. She is an active pro player who competes in the PPA and APP tournament circuits. Madeline’s unique and exceptional teaching approach ensures that anyone who joins our RPS Pickleball program can reach their full potential on the court!

Madeline Gonzalez’s coaching philosophy sees BEYOND just winning!
